About me

Hi, I’m Alexander – passionate about game development, with a strong background in 3D media, programming, and creative technology.

Like many others, my journey started with playing games. But I soon became curious about how they actually worked. My first real ‘program’ was a leveling bot for an MMORPG – not exactly elegant, but it sparked something. Over time, I got deeper into coding – first on my own, then in school. I quickly realized that pure logic wasn’t enough for me – I needed the creative and visual aspects that 3D environments and interactive media offer. That’s how I found my way into media informatics and game development.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, worked for three years at a VR/AR startup, and I’m currently in the final year of my Master’s in Applied Computer Science at Fulda University of Applied Sciences. There, I focus on topics like machine learning, 3D image processing, point clouds, computer graphics, game development, and virtual reality. Along the way, I’ve worked on various VR projects, university prototypes, and game demos – many of which you can find in my portfolio.

My strongest tools are Unity and C#. I also work with Python, Blender, and Java, and I’m currently expanding my skills in Unreal Engine and C++. I’m especially interested in gameplay programming, VR/AR, and crafting experiences that surprise, engage, or inspire curiosity.

Outside of development, I enjoy gaming myself, staying active, and exploring new places whenever I can.
